Circuit Modifications include Output, Tone, Overdrive & Bypass modifications. RC4558P IC change to reproduce the original TS808 sound. Replace indicator LED with High-visibility blue LED. We increase the output while improving the pedal’s ability to clean up. We improve the bass response and make the tone control more responsive. We change harsh-sounding electrolytic capacitors to metal film where applicable for better overall sound fidelity. Finally, we improve the bypass circuitry for better true-bypass characteristics. You shouldn’t ”hear” the pedal when it’s off. The result is a beautiful, expressive TS-808 sound with greater fidelity and response. This is a pedal that will find a permanent place on your board.
